Sumi was a League assassin and one badass female, and Dancer was a giant War Hauk that smashed anything that got in his way.

Born of Fury (The League, #6) by Sherrilyn Kenyon

Instant love on her part. I still get excited for her books though, because I always think it’s going to be another Born of Fire or Night Play, and it never really is. As a fan sheerilyn the League series and fan of Hauk: In her world, failure is not an option and she has never met a target she couldn’t execute.

I will never get tire of the amazing characters on The League series. Because her 3 year old daughter is taken as a hostage, she doesn’t have much choice. Sumi sherriyn one of the League assassins, sent on a mission to literally stalk Hauk and gather enough evidence that he is a member of Sentella. I borrowed this from the library and it’s a pretty good read.

Not with a psychotic older brother, mother that blames him for not dying after surviving a fire that left him badly scarred Andarion race likes their warriors to be the deadliest but kennyon scars allowed! That undoubtedly has to do with the genre and the focus on the male physique and whatever, but in this one it’s especially obvious. His story hits you where it hurts yet unlike his predecessors, Hauk doesn’t leave you drained and depressed and with this book clocking in at nearly pages, Kenyonn grateful.

Born of Fury : Number 6 in series

She uses it ad nauseam. Okay so here’s the deal: Secondary character Sherrilny is pretty bad ass. With legions of fans known as Menyons thousands of whom proudly sport tattoos from her series and who travel from all over the world to attend her appearancesher books are always snatched up as soon as they appear on store shelves. This installment, while highly entertaining, left me craving for more.

I hoped this series wouldn’t become really kenyob, like DH did, but alas. Even when it started becoming one trope after the other, and was so bogged down by super special snowflakeness between Sumi and Kalea, I still enjoyed it.

Can you guess how they take the news he has fallen for a human after weeks before Dariana agrees to follow tradition and mate Hauk?

He agrees to take his nephew on a quest but has no idea that his greatest enemies are closing in on him. So, Hauk immediately falling under the spell of the beautiful Sumi, a League assassin sent after him as her target, was a bit disappointing.

We find out why he has an explosives phobia, the issues shaping his relationship with Fain his brotherand why we never “see” or hear about him with a woman.

Hauk’s enemies are legion, but he fears nothing and kf one. Nov 01, Vieira rated it it was amazing Shelves: For the full review, please go to http: Born of Fury The League: Counted among the fiercest Andarion warriors ever born, Hauk is one of the five founding members of the Sentella- an organization that has declared war on the League that rules the Ichidian universe with an iron fist and terrifies it with an army of well-trained assassins.

I love how the Sentella have formed their own family, and how they always have each other’s back. Sherrilyn Kenyon is the queen of the tortured hero. But actions never do.

We have our Band of Brothers once again, and it was nice to see everyone this time around. Let’s see what the next one brings! Sumi was sent by The League to get incriminating evidence against Hauk for the evil Kyr.

Such was my worry abo There’s a reason I’ll travel hours and hours to stand in line to meet Sherrilyn Kenyon in person or purchase one of her books without even looking at the content blurb or price.

Yeehaw, another fun ride with S. They help with everything no matter what. Item s unavailable for purchase. Audiobook For the best fictional bachelor pad the award goes to: However, I could never settle in this book. And for it, Dariana made Hauk’s life as miserable as possible.

It was cool to see all of Sentella working together and see all the old couples come back with how they’re doing with their families.

Born of Fury (The League, #6) by Sherrilyn Kenyon (4 star ratings)

See all 8 questions about Born of Fury…. Of course, there was a tortured hero because all of her heros are tortured by some horrible person that betrayed them in the WORST possible way and the heroine is the only women in the whole universe that valued them as the wonderful, amazing and all other positive adjectives that they are.

Hauk is snarly, merciless towards his enemies, fiercely loyal to his friends, and a total softy when it comes to kids. I was completely amazed by this book! I love Hauk and Sumi’s story. Miluju Hauka, a i kdyz jsem cekala neco naprosto odlisneho, tak tento dil nezklamal, stejne jako vsechny dily pred nim.

Add in her trademark alpha males with romance in spades and yes I’m a very happy reader. This book is Dancer Hauks book. There was also plenty of action in this book, Hauk was on some kind of extreme-camping-coming-of-age gig with his young nephew and was also being chased by a horde of assassins and mercs. Kenyon has a way with words and the telling of a story that leaves the reader gratified and happy.
